Had to upgrade some drivers and reinstall some add ons but I like it so far. I like the new task bar. small icons that allow you to open the program to see what they are doing without having it pinned to the desktop. If it takes just throwing a pocket full of change into a salvation army kettle or buying a few extra cans of food and donate it to the food bank. Christmas is about charity to your fellow man. Again Cheers to all and Happy new year too. October 22 religious impositionWell this weekend has capped it off. I went to a house to put in refrigeration lines for air conditioning. When I arrived at the house I needed to know where the unit would sit so I called the builder. Not wanting him to come to the house but to tell me over the phone where it would go. The first time I phoned him I didn't get an answer and left a message. I waited for about 5 min and called him again. This time I got an answer. He told me that he didn't want me to work at the house. I was a little puzzled as to why he wanted this. I didn't actually come out and ask him but tried to tease a reason out of him. I thought it had something to do with workers comp or insurance. He finally came out and said he did want anyone working there for religious reasons. Let me tell you I was pissed. I didn't say anything to him because it wasn't my place but I really get pissed off when someone imposed their religious views on me. I don't have a problem with him practicing his religion but when it comes to him pushing it on me I get irrate. This is the reason wars are waged. What does he think? He will go to hell if someone works on his property on his sabbath. God I can't believe it. I may sound like I am overreacting to this but I have come into this situation before by a girlfriend or someone I thought was a friend. She thought I was stupid to believe the way I believe.
You want to know what I believe? Live and let live and do unto others. Don't force your views on someone else. You might just get the same if not more powerful counterforce pushed back at you. September 17 been a long timeHello all. It's been awhile since I have entered here. My life has been in a state of flux over the summer. It's been busy with work and not much time to much else. Now things are at a steady pace and my sanity also. I am delighted that Rush is in the studio for their new album and Neil Peart is coming out with another book. I can't wait. February 18 SanityAh!!!!!!!!!! It's the weekend and the sanity is here. Even more so. I am on a weeks holidays and my sweetie is coming ot town. I am going to have a rip roaring good time.
Amazingly enough I have nothing to vent about. People are actually below the radar for the last couple of days. Or maybe it's just that my radar is malfunctioning because my sweetie is coming down. Oh well. Need a rest from venting every now and again. I will probably write something in here just to say how the week is going.

February 15 VentingHello all!Just wanted to pop in and say that I got a bit out of hand yesterday with my venting or should I say ranting. The lady pissed me off. Today was a much better day.
Today I want to talk about cleanliness. People!!! If there are dust bunnies the size of real bunnies then there is something wrong with your vacuum or you have a serious mental defect. I was in a house today,(the where abouts will remain nameless), and I was sickened by the filth that was in this house. I had to fix a furnace that the fan wouldn't come on automatically,they had to run it in the on position to get heat. Well, when I got there, I walked in the door and the carpet looked like it hadn't be vacuumed in ages. I proceeded down stairs to the furnace. the stairwell was littered with stuff, not garbage per say but just clutter. The furnace was in the same room as the laundry. Dirty laundry was on the floor,looked like a month or more worth of laundry on the floor. I didn't dare look anywhere else in the basement for fear that there might be a dead body or something in there. As I attended to the furnace I had to hook my vacuum up and clean around the furnace area so I could kneel and sit in front of the furnace. I was there to clean the furnace not the area around the furnace but I didn't want to get dirty. I pulled the filter out of the furnace and there was no word of a lie at least 1/4" thick matt of lint and household dust on the filter. yechhhh1!!! The limit fan switch was screwed due to it going out on high limit all the time. When I pulled the filter out I found a nest of nuclear dust bunnies probably used by the two dead mice I found when I pulled the fan out. And the fact that there was mouse shit everywhere. I was thouroughly disgusted in this place. When I left I went right to the shop and sterilized myself. I don't understand how people can live this way. The guy there didn't seem to be even phased by what I found. Young guy, is his parents house, so I think he just thinks it's normal. If you have friends like this please intervene. Find them help. Nobody should live this way. Not in Canada at least.Soap and water are not expensive and neither is a broom.
Well that's all for this vent session. till tomorrow. February 14 Valentine's DayHello all, I haven't written in here for quite awhile. Well I am now. It's been since September since I have written in here. I think I might devote some space here for daily bitches. You know, the everyday stupidities and moronic absurdities we experience everyday, so if you have a bitch you want to publish go right ahead and put it in here. Who knows maybe something funny will pop up and make us feel better. I always thought that venting is good and if we get a laugh out of it the alls the better. Well I will start the bitch session first. Today I was driving along(you will find that most of my bitches are about other drivers) and there was this idiot two cars ahead of me doing 20kmh below the speed limit. It was in a mall area so I sort fo understood what was happening. It was some little old lady looking for a store. It wouldn't be so bad but she was come up to what I assumed was here turn and there was a turning lane,with cars in the turning lane, and just before she comes close to the end of the line she changes lanes quickly and doesn';t even make it into the turning lane all the way so her ass end is sticking out. The guy in front of me swerves to miss her and honks his horn. I wasn't so polite. I rolled down my window and flipped her the bird. She looked as if she didn't even do anything wrong.People. If you are going to go shopping. Figure out where the fucking store is before you get into your god damn car. The rest of us who have to be out there driving for a living want to get home for supper.There should be a law and this is where I think there should be cameras on every street corner so that asshole drivers like this lady should be drawn and quartered. There is now excuse for this kind of driving. There I have vented. Feel free to vent. It will do your sanity good. It saves you from going up to a clock tower.
